As the author, I’m deeply moved by Joanna’s words. Justice was written to explore the emotions, choices, and struggles that define the teenage experience, and hearing that it resonated on such a deep level means a great deal. I wanted the story to feel raw and real, yet still offer a glimmer of hope at the end, and Joanna’s reflection captures that perfectly. I’m truly grateful for her thoughtful review and for the care she took in expressing how the story made her feel.
